Classes

Tina’s Baskets and Woven Arts is offering the opportunity to learn more about the intricate art of basket weaving from Tina Puckett, a National and International award winning, master weaver and artist.

My classes offer teens and adults, of all abilities, an opportunity to build artistic skills and explore creative ideas. My one-on-one and small sized classes ensure individual direction where participants will learn new skills while enhancing their appreciation and understanding of the natural world of bittersweet and reeds.

Class Fee Structure

ALL DAY CLASS

Saturday or Sunday (11am to 4pm with 1/2 hour lunch break)

One Student - $200 plus $25 for materials
Two Students - $125 per student plus $25 per student for materials.
Three to Six Students - $80 per student plus $25 per student for materials.
Choose one type of Basket to weave per class and each student can choose their own colored reeds.
Tina recommends for beginners to start with the traditional bowl.

MINI CLASS

Saturday or Sunday (11am to 1pm or 1pm to 3pm)

Monday or Friday (6pm to 8pm)

One Student - $ 100 plus $10 material
Two Students - $70 per student plus $10 per student for materials.
Three to Six students - $40 per student plus $10 per student for materials
You will learn to weave a small bowl and each student can choose their own colored reeds.

Materials

Materials consist of a bittersweet vine or wooden hoops and a choice of hand colored, custom reeds.

Advance Reservation Only

Classes are by advance reservation only and are held at Tina’s Studio at Whiting Mills in Winsted, Connecticut.
Off site classes are also available by special arrangement for an additional fee.
Zoom is also available with additional fee for shipping materials.
